So-called "trickle down" economics is nothing more than daily economic activity. What the Left really want is a command and control economy.

There is no economic theory in any economics text book that is called trickle down. But then you probably believ Sarah Palin said she could see Russia from her house
There's no economic theory in the text books called "Reaganomics" but that hasn't stopped them from applying this sort of misguided pseudoscience as official government policy. I fail to see your point.

there is also nothing called Obama Care in real life.

does that mean the ACA is not real?

well it isn't surprising that anyone from Ohio who would root for the Suckeyes and the Bungles would fail to see any point, but the point is, if you are going to argue about an economic theory, don't you think you should name it appropriately?

Now if you would like to argue about Supply Side Economics we can do that. The simple fact is that it has worked every time that it has been tried.

But, forgetting the arguments about economic theory, a larger principle is at play here and that is one of economic freedom and private property rights. The question is ultimately this. Does the government have more right to your private property than you do? That seems to be your contention. Lefties seem to think that certain individuals are their own private piggy bank in which they can raid every time they have a wild hair.

Where does the notion of private property begin and end with you?

Now I see why you are so poorly informed, you get your information from leftist progressive blogs filled with the ignorance of Marxist class envy rhetoric.

I am amused by the arguments that if we taxed the richest among us at higher rates, poverty and deficit spending will disappear. Yet, nothing could be further from the truth.

Marginal tax rates have declined from 90% to 39% over the last five decades. It has not impacted Government revenues or socialist welfare spending. The arguments suggesting that increases taxes on the job producers will improve the plight of the middle class are just as stupid.

Please tell me how expanding the size and scope of Government exponentially has improved anyone's life. Please show me where increasing the massive burden of Government regulations has improved the creation of good paying jobs in this nation. If you were someone who has actually attempted to start a business instead of a clueless dunce, you would begin to realize the massive amount of local, State and Federal regulatory issues, costs and fees one has to wade through and the capital one has to expend in order to even begin generating a dime of revenue.

It is obvious that you have never been involved in doing anything connected with starting a business and, instead, have become an expert at removing any doubt what an economically clueless dunce you are.

It requires the rich to freely give their money to the lower classes if they wanted to do that they wouldn't have to make such a big deal about getting the government out of the process of wealth redistribution. They could have just been much more equitable in the wealth distribution at the level of wages and salaries. But at the same time they were trumpeting trickle down they were also destroying unions to make sure that wages and salaries at the lower levels stagnated. Inflation for the lower classes wages and salaries; BAD. Huge inflation in CEO salaries based on absolutely nothing but company board interactions: GOOD!

Bullshit! They just cut $12 Billion from the food stamp program, and reduced the allotment for everyone by at least $11 a month. In the same time that the tax rates went from 91% to 38% the deficit and debt has exploded. And indeed, the last president to run a surplus was Eisenhower when the rates were 91%. Clinton's plan would have paid down the debt but it was never given time to work. But he did cut the hell out of welfare when he signed on to the Republican program proffered by Gingrich. Another social program cut. I guess you are the one who doesn't know what you are talking about!
