Donald Trump admitted to keeping government materials as "cool" keepsakes, but he insisted he kept only the folders and not the classified documents they had contained.

President Joe Biden's attorneys notified the Department of Justice that some Obama-era classified materials were found at his private residence and at the Penn Biden Center, which a special counsel has been tasked with investigating, but Trump said his own actions were entirely justified.

"Perhaps the Gestapo took some of these empty folders when they Raided Mar-a-Lago, & counted them as a document, which they are not," Trump posted. "It’s also possible that the Trump Hating Marxist Thugs in charge will 'plant' documents while they’re in possession of the material. As President, and based on the Presidential Records Act & Socks Case, I did NOTHING WRONG. JOE DID!"

They were found after being there 2 years in NOVEMBER but we didn't know about them until a a week ago. Fuck you and your feigned morality. Piece of shit.b

Bidens were hanging around in his residences for years. That shows he was doing nothing wrong with them. He did not know they were there.
Trump is racking his brain to find a believable explanation that will keep him out of jail. This one was pretty bad.

Trump stole those documents from the WH and refused to return them, big big difference.

The archives were missing documents


They asked for them back from Trump


He fought them and lied to them from the first minute they ASKED for them


The Archives had to fight legally to get him to stop lying and to comply


They had to RAID his party house to get them back



The archives were missing no documents from Biden


Bidens lawyers were going through Bidens documents from being VP


Very likely to compile things to go in his presidential library that will someday contain them


In so doing they found documents that they believed were mistakenly packed into the wrong boxes


Documents they felt should be in the Archives possession instead


So they call that day for the Archives to come get them


The archives were so concerned they said


Thanks

We can pick them up tomorrow


Just hang on to them because we trust you to keep them safe until tomorrow


If you call the store and say “ hey when I checked out from your store you accidentally delivered an extra chair that I wasn’t charged for, do you want to come get it?”


And they say “well thanks for telling us but we can’t pick it up until tomorrow”


Is that a crime?



If you get an extra room of furniture delivered after buying stuff at a store and then the store calls you later and says “hey we found that your delivery included a room full of furniture you didn’t pay for, can we come get it?”


And you then tell them you received no extra furniture but you indeed did receive that furniture


But after a year and a half after court rangling over the furniture you claim to never have received is found at your home by cops


Is that a crime?
