Trump again praises Putin at Georgia rally

Trump chose a rally in Georgia on Saturday night once again to praise Vladimir Putin, calling the Russian president “smart”

The Republican former president also had warm words for China’s president Xi Jinping and North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un and referred to such leaders collectively by saying: “The smartest one gets to the top.”

He spoke admiringly of Xi in terms of the fact that he “runs 1.5 billion people with an iron fist” and referred to Kim as “tough”.

Then of Putin, Trump told the crowd: “They asked me if Putin is smart. Yes, Putin was smart.”

He also praised Russia’s strategy of a huge accumulation of military force on its border with Ukraine prior to invading, even if the war is not going well for the aggressor.

Putin is destroying ancient cities, homes, and businesses. He is killing men, women, children, dogs, cats, and wild animals. Yeah, he is smart because trump still sees some personal advantage in this Putin war. Trump empathizes with that because he thinks the same way. Fuck lives, what can I get out of this.

a genius? for invading a no-threat peaceful independent nation for no reason, except his own ego? did he not know that would align the whole world against him? and that is without the war crimes troops under his command have committed. take your head out of putin's ass, boy.
 
Vladimir is his man, the guy has made a fool of Trump on the world scene, yet Donnie can't stop his admiration, no doubt that the reason Putin invaded the Ukraine when Biden won was because he knew with Trump gone the timing would get nothing but worse

It might be kind of America-centric to think that Putin does shit because of or to spite us, but there's some truth in your post for sure. Putin and the Russians have tried to meddle and influence our national politics for years.
