Has Trump ever expressed that he has anything against a free press? I often see him say bad things about the "fake news" media, but I don't see him attacking the media as a whole.
 
I have been able to find a few times when he has in fact referred to "the press" instead of the "the fake news" in statements against the fake news, but those are taken out of their full and correct context where he is talking about the fake news.

Nope, and he never called the media "the enemy of the people". I've asked several libs on JPP to produce quotes of Trump saying this, and they just go into full on Trump Tourette Syndrome mode.

Does your link lead to Trump attacking the media as a whole, or is he speaking specifically about fake news media?

To Donald Trump...any media reporting the TRUTH...is the FAKE NEWS.

To Donald Trump...media massaging his back and telling half truths in defense of his assault on America and its institutions...is OKAY.

He is a moron...and a danger to our nation and its institutions. ANYONE still supporting him is a TRAITOR to our nation and its institutions.

This thread is not meant for debating what is or is not fake news, it is only meant as a place to post occasions when Trump has attacked the news as a whole, as opposed to attacks specifically aimed at the fake news. Apparently, nobody here can post any such occasions.

Trump is pro-Infowars, Brietbart and Fox Gnus. He says other news is fake news and against America. Not just critical of Trump but anti-American. Which should tell you how great he thinks he is.

Anyone who cannot see the constant and unrelenting attacks by this abomination of a president on the vital national institution of a free press...or a free media...is too stupid to be engaged in discussions of this sort. In fact, probably too stupid to be engaged in a discussion about how to put Humpty Dumpty "back together again!"

By posting this emotional assertion instead of what the opening post asks for, you are demonstrating that you cannot produce what the opening post asks for.
 
Well then, it looks like nobody could find anything but references to fake news, and nothing about the media as a whole.

trump doesn't get to define what is or isn't fake news. Especially since we all know "fake news" to him is any that doesn't kiss his big fat orange* hiney.

*Orange or white. I don't really want to know.
 
Trump calls any and every news outlet that is not Fox "the fake news".

The irony is, of course, that the only really fake news is Fox, who present and defend Daffy, falsely, as a respectable person.

Trump is a liar, a racist and a coward. Evmetro is a white supremacist, racist swine, so he feels he also must defend a fellow racist swine.
