President Donald Trump on Monday publicly criticized his own attorney general, Jeff Sessions, for allowing Republican congressmen to be indicted for alleged criminal behavior.

“Two long running, Obama era, investigations of two very popular Republican Congressmen were brought to a well publicized charge, just ahead of the Mid-Terms, by the Jeff Sessions Justice Department. Two easy wins now in doubt because there is not enough time. Good job Jeff…” Trump tweeted.

Are these two very popular republican congressmen Chris Collins of New York, charged with wire fraud and securities fraud, and Duncan Hunter of California, indicted for looting his campaign fund, although he says his wife did it?

Coincidentally these were the first and second republican "law makers" to endorse candidate Trump in 2016. The third was Sessions.

Drain the Swamp!

Trump is correct. Those Repub congressmen are like him. They should not have to face the law for committing crimes. The law should not impact anyone on Trump's side. Sessions should not have allowed justice to charge them with the crimes they committed. I am not sure Sessions has that power, but he still should not have allowed it. Trump knows the law better than he does.

The Kremlin-supported Donald Trump and his supporters are authoritarians and basically feel the U.S. Department of Justice is not an arbiter of justice, but should be a political entity - akin, to Stalin's secret police. And thus used to pursue perceived enemies and protect political allies.

He has repeatedly insulted and criticized the person he chose to be the Atty. General. Easy to see that problem is Trumps. I am no fan of Sessions, but Trump enjoys abusing him in public forums. Trump is a dick.

Trump is a very sick man... and its contagious.

Sessions gave up the best job he could have had to join Trump, and Trump turned it into torture. He was a bad senator in a safe state.

Anyone who goes to work for Donald Trump...

...deserves what he/she eventually will get.

Trump is a monster...an abomination. The fact that America is saddled with this low-life, classless man says a lot more about our nation than I want the rest of the world to know about us.

This has gone way beyond, "We have differences of opinion on various issues."

This is about a significant segment of our nation being willing to tolerate that which should never be tolerated.
