Trump beating Biden by 7 points, DeSantis by 34 in key battleground states

63 percent of registered voters in battleground states say they don't want to see Biden run for president.

A new Echelon Insights poll conducted between June 26-29 shows former President Donald Trump as the favorite to win the White House among battleground state voters if the 2024 election were held today.

According to the poll, former President Donald Trump leads President Joe Biden in battleground states with 48 percent voting definitely or probably for him. 41 percent say they would definitely or probably vote for Biden, while 11 percent are undecided. Battleground states for 2024 include Arizona, Florida, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, New Hampshire, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Georgia, and Wisconsin.

The poll shows a virtual tie between Florida Governor Ron DeSantis at 44 percent and President Biden at 43 percent with 13 percent unsure. 63 percent of registered voters in battleground states say they don't want to see Biden run for president in 2024, with only 23 percent saying they do.

In the Republican Primary, former President Trump garnered 56 percent of support in battleground states and 49 percent among all voters polled. Ron DeSantis is in a distant second place with 22 percent of the support in battleground states, and dropping to 16 percent overall.

In a head-to-head matchup between Trump and DeSantis, 63 percent of voters in battleground states say they would vote for the former president if the primary were held today, while 32 percent said they would vote for DeSantis. 60 percent total said they would vote for Trump while 32 percent of voters in battleground states and total would go for the Florida governor.

As reported Wednesday, Vivek Ramaswamy polled within six percentage points of Governor DeSantis. Ramaswamy gained two points putting him at 10 percent in the primary vote, while DeSantis lost three points. A Civiqs poll in June showed that DeSantis' favorability dropped 22 points since December.

Former President Trump has continued to rise in the polls since being indicted on two different sets of charges. A Harvard Harris Poll in June showed that 55 percent of Americans believe the indictments are politically motivated and 50 percent believe that they will only help him politically.

We need a transcendent leader. It's difficult to imagine where we'll be in 5 or so years if Trump wins another term. I only know it isn't a good place.

No kidding! If Trump is beating Biden, and Trump is a world class asshole what's that say about Biden? How fucked up do you have to be not to poll better than Trump?

Boss Tweed, a Democrat, was notorious for that. Then there was the Chicago Dailey machine. Same thing. The history of the Democrat party is one filled with cheating and conniving when it comes to elections unmatched by any other party in American history.

odd.....if it wasn't for covid and the demmycrats shutting down the economy, we were in a fantastic place during his first term.......the good Lord knows its gone to shit under Biden but obviously that can be fixed by putting him in a good care facility for the rest of his life......
