Trump brags he helped Saudis cover up Jamal Khashoggi's murder

"He will always say that he didn't do it," Trump said of MBS. "He says that to everybody, and frankly I'm happy that he says that. But he will say that to you, he will say that to Congress, and he will say that to everybody. He's never said he did it."
accurate, and Khashoggi' doesn't matter to the USA -let the Turks handle it like they are doing in court.

KSA on the other hand is of extreme importance, and MbS is important as a reformer-
im happy Trump blocked Congress from yet more stupid sanctions

Yes. MBS, Putin, Xi, Erdogan, Kim Jong-un ... all great Reformers. Trump keeps great company.

It's the first time in my life a U.S. president boasted about helping to cover up the dismemberment of a journalist by chainsaw.

Hello Cypress,

He's right.

Frankly, I can't imagine why Trump was so dumb to admit all this stuff to Woodward. Woodward is amazing to be able to get these stories.

He is very dumb, easily outwitted, and is not able to self-filter. If he is this open to blabbing to Bob Woodward about things better left unsaid, what state secrets is he spilling to Putin and Kim Jun Un?

It's all transactional with trump. He didn't care one iota about Khashoggi's life. "He says very strongly that he didn't do it," Trump said. "Bob, they spent $400 billion over a fairly short period of time."

It's the first pathological sociopath elected as president in my adult life.

'transactional foreign policy' is a nimble foreign policy able to take advantages of circumstances.
It's much the same as realpolitik

The "Scandals" are dropping too fast for me to pay attention.

Who came up with this shitty plan?
