As various calculations surface, via Trump PAC filings, that they are running out of cash, the issue of why Trump pushed out a very loyal Ronna McDaniel as the RNC head, in favor of putting his Daughter-In-Law in charge is becoming more clear.


His Daughter In law has made it crystal clear that funding Trump priorities will be the sole focus, if she is put in. This as Trump's costs are soaring and his cash is running out.



Trump was already harming the election chances of other Republi'cans' as more dollars went to him and less to other candidates and the RNC generally, to help republi'cans' win in tough races. This will only further bury them. So i am all for it. Kill the party from within due to Trump's grift consuming the party and every dollar that comes in.

Maga Inc PAC, which Trump does not directly control, spends 71% of every dollar raised on Trump lawyers.


Trumps other PAC he controls, Save America PAC and Make America Great PAC have spent over $50MM to cover Trump legal fees as of last filing.

And it is going to good use with Lawyers such as Alina Habba being paid over $4MM alone, as filed by the PAC, just for the E Jean case defense and loss.

As always 'it is Magat's stupidity that is our super power'. I fully support this decision making.

Yes they will. And i am glad for it.


As much as Trump would gladly sacrifice his two sons to save himself, and i have no doubt about that, I do not think he purposely puts them in harms way.

If Trump were to win, whoever his VP is will face far more pressure, than Pence ever did, to do illegal things, so Trump can maintain arms length deniability.

That VP will either be fired, and ruined in the party, as Pence was for saying no, or they will do it, and risk being in the legal crosshairs, as Giuliani and so many others who obeyed Trump, now are.

That is why Barr left on his own first. He knew Trump would continue to demand ever worse things from Barr, or the threats against Barr would get worse. So he exited to beat it.

Yup.

Trump puts the party in a real bind because he sucks up so much money that used to go to the Congress Heads (McConnell and McCarthy) and the RNC that would be primarily spent on winning the swing seats.

The big problem is, with Trump in control of the money, he will not spend any of it on anyone else, unless he has endorsed them and they go Full Magat Derp Trumpy.

McConnel, McCarthy and the RNC know that swing district voters often won't vote for a candidate who is to much of a 'party guy' for either party. They must appear more moderate, centrist and able to go with either party votes depending on what makes the most sense to them.

Well Trump would never help fund that candidate, even if that was required to win. He would still demand they go full MagaDerp Trump.

As always 'their stupidity is our super power'.

Version of the Southern strategy have been pushed by the hard core party racists and xenophobes for decades but it was always accepted by the broader party that it was a path once taken, had to win instantly or would destroy the party.

That is why the pre Trump republi'can' party was trying to become a more big tent, inclusive party. They saw a big opportunity to get Latino and PoC voters who tend more conservative and who are religious, into the party.

Problem is, the hard core racists do not want them in the tent, and certainly do not want to share any power with them. They will hold their noses and take their votes but that is it. So the party faced death or trying the SOuthern Strategy, which is likely to lead to death regardless. For the hard core racists, such as the magats on this forum, they are ok with the gamble.
