As predicted, according to the transcript, Trump hit well over half of the self congratulatory superlatives I predicted he would (“tremendous,” “amazing,” best,” “yuge” very yuge,” “most beautiful,”great,” “greatest,” “greatest in history,” mixed in with “never seen before,” “no one has ever done this before,” you believe it is “tremendous,” “amazing,” best,” “yuge” very yuge,” “most beautiful,”great,” “greatest,” “greatest in history,” mixed in with “never seen before,” “no one has ever done this before”)

But by far the best was, ”it has been stated by many that the first month of our presidency is the most sucessful in the history of our nation. And what makes it even more impressive, is they you know who number two is? George Washington. How about that?”

And of course, everything was “Biden’s fault.” It is not only unprecedented to directly cite the former President by name in addressing Congress, but Trump did it 16 times in a ninety minute plus speech, that is close to every five minutes

Keep that popcorn popping
