Trump fears Fox News is about to call the election for Biden

President Donald Trump fears that Fox News will stick a pin into the election results and deflate his re-election chances, possibly Friday morning.

Officials told Axios the president is worried that Joe Biden will soon be declared as the projected winner and that his hopes of getting the election before the Supreme Court he stacked will fall flat, so he’s flooding the zone with misinformation.

“I easily WIN the Presidency of the United States with LEGAL VOTES CAST,” the president said in a statement. “The OBSERVERS were not allowed, in any way, shape, or form, to do their job and therefore, votes accepted during this period must be determined to be ILLEGAL VOTES. U.S. Supreme Court should decide!”

There has been no evidence so far of widespread vote fraud or illegal voting in any state, but the president and his eldest son Donald Trump Jr. are demanding that other Republicans undermine the election results as fraudulent.

The president has been portraying the normal vote-counting process as rigged, but election experts say they’ve seen nothing out of the ordinary, and Twitter keeps repeatedly flagging Trump’s posts as false or misleading.

Trump and some of his allies are calling on the Supreme Court, where three of his nominees have been seated, to step in to overturn losing results.

But even some Trump-friendly legal experts struggle to see a basis for those results to come before the court, so his only shot at winning an election that appears to be lost might be in recounts that might somehow go his way.
 
I suspect that one reason they're taking so long to verify and count the ballots is the desire to get it right the first time, so that any challenges won't hold up.

That televised meltdown he had last night was hysterical. NBC News put a huge red banner over the bottom half of the screen labeling his screeching as false, misleading. And then they just cut him off and returned to the rest of the news. It was a thing of beauty.

Trump has sworn if he loses he will run again in 2024. It would be very interesting to see what the GOP would say and do.

I think he'll form his own party. He has a solid base of disenchanted cultists to back him up. Personally I hope he does. Guarantees a blue, progressive future for the rest of us.

This is assuming, of course, that he's not in prison by then. :laugh:
 
Someone is going to call this very soon. The truth is that Pennsylvania was inevitable on Tuesday morning, I have no idea why it wasn't obvious to the networks.

Agreed. Most states learned their lesson in 2000. Changes were made. This election is fine but complicated by the high number of mail-in votes due to the COVID pandemic. I'm satisfied with the oversight and, if there is anything hinky, am confident the proper legal authorities will resolve the issue.

No one wants another fuck up like in 2000 costing the nation over a 4400 American lives and over a trillion taxpayer dollars.

The Fox News call will have exactly the same impact on the election as will Trumps lawsuits. To wit; none. In this country, you need proof when you level an accusation. Where's your proof? Did the dog eat it? Did the Deep State steal it from poor widdle Donny? The Supreme Court will not hear a single argument of voter Fraud. No chance.

Never say never, but I agree there doesn't seem to be any SCOTUS issues here. The nation learned a lot from the 2000 election and has had 20 years to fix any problems. This election is a good test.
