Trump: "If it weren’t for me, bad things would have happened to Russia." Russia’s Medvedev responds and threatens Trump with World War III. US President also stated that Putin is “playing with fire.”

On Tuesday, May 27, American leader Donald Trump stated in his latest comments that Russian ruler Vladimir Putin is playing with fire. Deputy Chairman of Russia’s Security Council Dmitry Medvedev responded to these remarks

Donald Trump wrote this on the social media platform Truth Social.

“What Vladimir Putin doesn’t realize is that if it weren’t for me, lots of really bad things would have already happened to Russia, and I mean REALLY BAD” said the American leader.

Trump also added that Putin is “playing with fire.”

Trump could still choose not to implement the new sanctions, as he has previously backed away from threats to punish Russia over its actions in Ukraine. The U.S. president has said previously he is worried new sanctions could push Russia away from peace talks.

Meanwhile, Russia's Dmitry Medvedev wrote on social media platform X:
"Regarding Trump’s comments that Putin is ‘playing with fire’ and that ‘really bad things’ are happening with Russia. I know of only one truly bad thing—World War III. I hope Trump understands that!"

  • Reacting to recent Russian strikes on Ukraine, Donald Trump sharply criticized Russian leader Vladimir Putin and expressed dissatisfaction with the rhetoric of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Putin’s side called Trump’s words an “emotional rhetoric.”

The Russians are threatening WWIII based on The Felon's actions. Sad.

Never make a threat unless you are either willing(and able) to carry through on it, or think the other side will not call your bluff. Sadly trump does not understand this simple rule. he just looks weak and pathetic now.
