Americans do not love Trump...for the most part they are embarrassed by him. (Except for a minority of the clowns and puppets of the American right.)

He is not a self-made man...and most Americans are not applauding him. They are repudiating him.

The "loan" was millions of dollars...and there are money people who say Trump could have made a larger fortune by putting it in the bank and just collecting interest. He is not considered much of a businessman.

Trump got over 400 million from his dad. He went bankrupt about 6 times, even losing casinos. How can you lose money in a casino? Trump was a terrible businessman but was born to a slum lord who made a fortune cheating the poor.

Trump may be a conman on the level of Madoff, or PT Barnum. He certainly has fooled a lot of Americans. They will believe until the courts teach them who he is. Many will still deny it.

He's not a self made man.. Trump inherited $300 million from his father.
 
Vile even said small loan, which Trump who lies as a sport, said it was 1 million dollars. In today's money, more like 4 million. We all know about the money Trump's dad spent buying millions of dollars of casino chips and then not using them to try and stop a Trump casino from going bankrupt. Even that could not save him.Trump lost 3 casinos, the only ones in Atlantic City that did not survive. Trumpis as good a politician as he is a businessman,. All smoke and mirrors.

Too bad but you're wrong. Trump's success as a politician can be measured by his support from the American people. As would be all politicians. He's been able to find and bring out the worst in Americans. It's mostly in his understanding that condemning minorities is a successful ploy.

Hitler is the best example of another politician who mastered the ploy and used it on the people of Germany. But Hitler isn't the only politician who used it successfully. It's a large part of the definition of fascism.

The right in American endorse what Trump is doing. Will some pretend that they don't? Will some just not bother to pretend? I think that most want to make the statement and are no longer much afraid of the label.

Hopefully we can push them to say how they feel about what Trump is doing. It could be the beginning of a decent conversation if the children don't take over right away and make it another shitflinging demonstration? It's worth a try at least?

Trump lost the popular vote. He is not the most popular of politicians and has been losing ground since his accidental election. Trump has a solid 34 percent of people who cannot be reached with facts and honesty. But the increase in voters who did not participate in the past is a bad sign for him. He has aliented many groups of people from oldsters, military and minorities. If Trump does not resign first, he will get get beaten in the primaries. He is an embarrrassment and dangerous .

I'm obviously with you on most of that, even though I hear it more as an apology for what the American people have been persuaded to buy into. What I don't agree with is your being so sure that Trump will be beaten out in the primaries. His 34% base is still a lot stronger than anything any of the others can brag about.

The only factors that I can imagine coming into play are:

1. The Mueller factor as I have explained. I'm thinking that Mueller actually already has enough on Trump to cause him to back out of his own accord.

2. The Kennedy method of stopping Trump.

Right now I would rate the two as about 50/50.

And granted, that's not answering the question on who will become president if Trump survives the primary. I think he would so far. Same reason why he did last time. On the positive side, the Dems can't possibly put a worse choice than Hillary to run against him. (assuming that Pelosi is just idle chatter)

Pelosi is 78 and has decided to be speaker for 2 more years while grooming a successor. She is well qualified .
