For 230 years americans have been allowed to contest an election. Democrats sure did so after 2016. They even gave us the 2 year mueller investigation. But when trump does it, the goverpress says its a CONSPIRACY and a crime!!

We are allowed to contest an election legally; for example, filing the lawsuits and entering objections during the counting of electors.
But, when we submit false electors, try to pressure the VP to violate his constitutional duties, urge state officials to "find" votes, and conspire to overturn the election, it becomes illegal. That is especially true when Trump knew he lost and all the claims of fraud had no evidence. He was told that by family, staff, and administration. He lost most of the court cases because they presented no evidence.
If Trump's supporters did not believe his lies January 6 would never have happened.

This case is streamlined for speedy trial.
Leaving unnamed co-defendants out, to avoid ability to use all sorts of motions to slow it. Simple straight forward charges that are not complex.
I said it in the Florida Indictment, Documents case, that Aileen Cannon screwed up (as did Trump team) in pushing that case back so much, to the end of May, 2024. It leaves a big enough window for another judge to say 'ok we will set a speedy trial pace to be completed before that date'. A case like this one.
If Aileen was smart she would have gave Jack the December date he wanted but then accept motions from Trumps team just before it was going to start, to push it back another 3 months...and so on and so on.
She could have set a schedule that would not have allowed for any cases to be squeezed in between.
Once again Trump finds himself...

It was a complex investigation and indicting a President requires dotting one's "I's" and crossing the "T's".

Yes pretty quick considering Durham actively investigating the "Crime of the Century' took 5 years for a nothing burger. Considering Weiss actively investigating Hunter took 5 years for a nothing burger.
So ya, Jack Smith taking 6 months to actively investigate Trump on crimes he did 3 years ago is pretty damn speedy.
Hunter's story was fizzling. the Rightys were caught lying again.
There is no proof of insurrection so Smith comes up with conspiracy because his job is to interfere with the Election so Trump can't be our next president. Smith will likely fail again
