The Trump organization today fired 7 workers who lacked immigration status.

Hey...they pledged to do that a year ago.

Not bad time for someone like Trump.

It's 7 people who you want to remain in this country and who will hopefully Kate Steinle your family members.
 
He had them all over his businesses. These are just the ones he could not hide. He used undocumented workers to help his construction businesses for decades. Trump always gets away with his law breaking.

Trump fired them after he got the use first. Things are slowing down so he can do it. One of the workers says Trump has hired dozens if Mexicans who come up to work on the winery when the planting and picking seasons come. Standard procedure for a Trump. The one he just canned were working because they were needed. Now they are not, Trump can make a show. But he hired illegals again this year. He does every year. That is how the family does business.

TrumpCo is just the tip of the giving-illegals-jobs-under-the-table iceberg. That's why all the screaming and raving about The Beautiful Wall -- it plays better to the sub-morons in his base better than actually doing something effective about the problem. You know, like cracking down on employers who hire them. If they can't get jobs, they'll stay home.
 
I knew a construction company owner who hired illegals. I asked him why and he said it gave him an advantage in bidding for government contracts. He could undercut other companies.
