Former President Donald Trump mistook a photo of accuser E. Jean Carroll for his ex-wife Marla Maples in a slip-up during a deposition in his rape case.

“That’s Marla, yeah. That’s my wife,” Trump said after being shown the 1990s-era photo of him and Carroll, according to newly unsealed excerpts from the deposition in Manhattan Federal Court.

Trump’s lawyer quickly jumped in to correct the former president.

Trump has repeatedly claimed he could not have raped Carroll, a former celebrity columnist, because she “isn’t my type.” That sexist assertion is undermined by his confusing her image with that of Maples, to whom he was married for six years.

Rape is not about establishing a relationship. It is not about love and knowing a woman. Raping her and walking away, does not require her to be a specific type. Trump said the same thing about women he groped. Trump is a pig.
 
We will never know whether or not Trump actually raped her or not, but he will lose this case and be forever labeled a rapist due to his stupidity.

Rape cases are enormously hard to prove but Trumps constant lies and inconsistencies are going to make the jury trust her, far more than him. He is an absolute disaster to himself in depositions because he is so dumb.

he says in deposition "she is not my type".. then "oh that is Marla my ex", thus his type. He says in deposition he has 'not touched women without their consent' but in a video the jury will see he says I “grab them by the pussy. You can do anything.”


The jury is going to take away, that he does whatever he wants and then just lies about after and thus find against him, rightly.
