“They were incredible. When I went to the courthouse which is also a prison in a sense, they signed me in and I’ll tell you people were crying,” he claimed.

Video footage from inside the courthouse in Manhattan last week actually showed court staff refusing to hold open a door for Mr Trump as he walked in to face a judge.

The former president has routinely told far-fetched stories about people crying when they encounter him, always behind the scenes and off camera and often supposedly involving people associated with the military or law enforcement.

Twitter users were quick to make fun of the one-term president’s unlikely claims.

Look at the video of him walking in the court room. First a cop walks in before Trump and does not even hold the door open for him.

Unfortunately, you are wrong on that. Biden is the biggest joke. Trump is the biggest asshole.

Here's the difference.

Nobody takes Biden seriously. He says something and people ignore him. It shows in how unpopular he is.

Trump on the other hand, you might jeer him, you may fear him, but you won't ignore him. The guy is front and center on the political stage as the world's biggest asshole. He gets more attention today than Biden does and Biden is actually supposed to be running the country.

Agreed Trump is the bigger asshole, but his comments, as in the UN speech, make him a joke. Biden is just lame.
 
Trump has claimed many times that followers and Repub politicians have cried as they asked him to do things for them. They seek the all-powerful Donny's blessings.
