"In a statement, Cook said that Mr. Trump 'purported to fire me [for cause] when no cause exists under the law, and he has no authority to do so. I will not resign. I will continue to carry out my duties to help the American economy as I have been doing since 2022.'"

I'm just pointing out that this fat, weak sociopath has taken another day to attack another American institution. The man is not well, and he is blatantly desperate to run from the Epstein files, his shit-stepping through Russia's war on Ukraine, and his gross, reckless mismanagement of the economy. He fired her because she's a Black woman who Biden appointed who votes with Powell. The question is whether or not the Supreme Court will qualify that as "cause".
