Since his campaign for election to President of the United States in 2016, no one in history has dominated the public discourse as has Donald J. Trump.
His use of Twitter to take his message directly to the people has been unprecedented, to say the least. In virtually every news cycle, Donald Trump can be seen and heard delivering his message, and the news media dutifully reports what he says and does, despite the fact that Mr. Trump has a habit of playing fast and loose with the truth. Sometimes it seems as if it’s Trump Time all the time as the President bombards us constantly with whatever pops into his mind that he wants to tell people about, especially his millions of core supporters.

However, after over four years now of his particular communications tactics, it’s become clear that the President has likely overdone things and induced in millions of people, including many of his own supporters, a type of disorder that is best called ‘Trump Overload Syndrome’, although such a condition is not officially recognized (at least not yet) in the medical and psychological communities.

Nonetheless, ‘Trump Overload Syndrome’ appears to be very real and is causing distress to a lot of people who simply have a hard time dealing with a near-constant barrage of “in your face” messages coming from Donald Trump.

Many people find themselves stressed out by all this and wish the President would tone down and moderate his words and behavior. Of course, Trump’s base of core supporters he counts on, are much more receptive to what he says and does, and how he says and does things. After all, that particular “out of the box” communications style is a major reason they voted for him in the first place. But even these core supporters often wish he’d be a bit more diplomatic at times.

One way to deal with ‘Trump Overload Syndrome’ is to cut back on one’s exposure to the President. That, of course, involves reducing the amount of time a person engages with various forms of media, especially the most common ones such as television news and newspapers, as well as social media outlets such as Twitter and Facebook. However, that is much easier said than done because of ingrained daily habits people have built up over time that they find very difficult to change.

Donald Trump’s particular style has certainly worked well and very effectively for him up to this point. Whether that style will hold up well enou
gh over his remaining time as President remains to be seen as it takes its emotional toll on millions of people by causing “Trump Overload Syndrome.”

With the arrival of the coronavirus, the President hesitated the first couple of months of 2020 to take COVID-19 as seriously as most medical experts were. Eventually, the crisis grew to such proportions that he really had no choice but to give the matter the seriousness it deserved. Thus, he started having press conferences every day that lasted upwards of two hours and veered wildly offtopic, with him sounding more like he was on the campaign trail.

These daily press conferences, along with his usual “tweetstorms” every day, only served to magnify ‘Trump Overload Syndrome’ since the President communicated a lot more than he used to. Even some of his staunchest supporters were saying that he was risking overexposure and the possible backlash. It didn’t help matters that while all this was going on, the President’s poll numbers showed disapproval of the way he and his staff were handling the coronavirus response, especially after a very slow start.

Some of his closest advisers recommended that he cut back on his daily TV appearances. He did so, but only for a few days before resuming the press conferences. Clearly, being in the spotlight every day, especially since he couldn’t go out on the campaign trail, was just too tempting to resist. So The Trump Show goes on and on and on, with no end in sight.
However, even if his overexposure may be hurting him, don’t look for Donald Trump to change his personal and political style to accommodate anybody or anything. That’s just not in his DNA.

But a lot of people around the country, and even the world, would say that ‘Trump Overload Syndrome’ is definitely a real thing and is affecting them in a negative way. There’s not much they can do about it, though, other than try to tune him out. Good luck with that.
Thanks for reading.

LOL.

Agreed. Trump fatigue is worse than COVID fatigue. Fortunately, despite all Trump's attempts to the contrary, a cure has been found for both.

Good luck with a senile old man and a fucking pretend %#^* whore at the helm. You'll need it.

Welcome to the America of your grandchildren & their grandchildren......

Hopefully they just won't mention you..........

The problem is TBS. Trump was whipped badly on the election and is threatening to destroy America to stay in office and out of court. He has decided the same system that put him in the office is suddenly corrupt. He has attacked the basic institutions for his own gain. He is a serious threat to the Republic and those with Trump-blowing syndrome cannot come up for air.

Just another claim you can't prove.

It must be sad knowing you put your faith in a motherfucking ^%#+ like Bill.
It's pretty obvious you have no love in your heart and, therefore, no one loves you, inmate. Maybe your mother, but she can only be sad for a pathetic creature like you.

Just as expected. Claims made, no proof provided, and you use the BISSO argument. It's pretty obvious you're not going to provide any objective proof.

What's pathetic about expecting you to support your claims?

The proof is in your every post. Your racism, your hatred for everyone, your fantasy land acronyms, etc, etc, etc.
