Yep, I think he is starting to cut his own path, separate from the powered orange dear leader..

If this continues it won't be long before "someone's" insecurities will get the best of him & he'll be compelled to attack him if he refuses to kowtow & stay in his subordinate role..

I don't think long, predicated on desantis continued rise..

Of course he could sweet talk him, get his endorsement etc, play along & then get out on his own side of the road once he is elected(lots of "if's" there...
