tRump refers to war casualties as "losers".

That sounds like something Trump would say....that is how he thinks.

We all know that Trump has flaws.

Moreover, Goldberg’s article will persuade no one. No opponent of the president will be surprised by the piece. No supporter of the president will take Jeffrey Goldberg’s word for it that Trump is a veteran-hating monster. Tim Alberta says that Goldberg’s credibility is beyond reproach. Perhaps Alberta was less appalled by Goldberg’s loathsome and cowardly treatment of Kevin Williamson than I was. Regardless, he should have convinced one of his sources to put their good name behind the piece or held off. It’s irresponsible to make these weighty accusations of the leader of the free world without presenting the public with a shred of hard evidence. Goldberg should have known that.

yep. That is how the press works. If they had to reveal all their sources, they would get no insiders talking. If Trump knew who talked, he would destroy them. Stories are written and then the sources can decide to come out or not. The story is the same as I read when the incident happened.

FFS. This isn't Faux News or some tabloid article. This is The Atlantic, one of the most venerated papers in the US. If they say that four unnamed sources close to Trump said this, then I trust them.

Why? we are talking about an article that has been backed up by other sources. Even Fox's expert agreed it was true. Trump said the New York Times was failing years ago. Everyone who writes about Trump unflatteringly is working for a failing company. Can you not see a pattern?. Trump lies.
No decline . It was started in 1857. A short time ago, Laurene Jobs, Steves ex, bought a controlling interest. Sounds pretty solid to me.

Because the quality of the mag has plummeted. I used to read most issues, now I dont, because there tends to be nothing worth reading in it. My information is that Jobs bought a majority share with the understanding that the mag would go woke and that she would be willing to take some loses....but she made it very clear that there was going to be no blank checks, that extensive efforts must be made to make money.

It is now woke crap.

So you finally understand how news is written. I agree 4 people who were there saying the same thing is strong for the story. Yes, tough to refute a story with 4 very good sources. Now there are others corroborating., like Reuters, Fox Gnus intell chief, and others. Aren't you glad you did not make a mistake and deny it with absolutely gathering knowledge?
