Trump refuses to take responsibility for those who poisoned themselves

At Monday’s coronavirus press briefing, President Donald Trump was asked whether he felt there was a connection between the spike in people who have reported poisonings from household cleaners, and his comments the previous week that scientists should look into injecting bleach into people’s bloodstream and lungs as a possible means of treating coronavirus.

The president refused to take any responsibility for these incidents, repeatedly saying “I can’t imagine why” people would misuse cleaning products.

Trump’s remarks on disinfectant provoked widespread outrage from experts, and reportedly contributed to the decision from White House officials to hold fewer press conferences and give the president fewer speaking roles.

But it sounds — it sounds interesting to me.

So we’ll see. But the whole concept of the light, the way it kills it in one minute, that’s — that’s pretty powerful.

The far right wing spin machine is now working overtime. It takes a few days to gear up. to arrive at the proper excuses for trumps failures, and then the spin begins. Each and every word is analyzed and the proper response considered. Truth has never mattered it just a way of bringing the unwashed masses into the proper frame of mind.

AS it is my dear, each and every word a president says is taken literally and that is why thousands have been calling their state or cities poison control departments. Of course there are most likely thousands who just went ahead and tried to digest disinfectant as trump suggested.

The fact that the president in public made such a statement meant people were going to try it and they did. If he did not say it, it would never occur to them. I suppose rightys will blame Biden. They will not hold Trump responsible for what he says.
