tRump says insurance issues prevented him from entering church.

Trump can say anything he wants, no matter how wrong and stupid, and his followers will repeat it as gospel. He has no reason to say the facts when he thinks lies help him. There is no conscience in the fight.
 
I suppose he could have a point. Bibles and pews and hymnals bursting into flames as he shuffles, bent over, down the aisle towards the altar (which also bursts into flames) could be considered a liability issue.

They'd never be able to get that stench of brimstone out of the carpets.

Nope. That would only apply to Democratic President. The NRA operates differently when a Republican is POTUS.
