I must admit that each time I think that Trump's "psycho-babble" cannot get any more outlandish, he manages to go one step farther into "bizzaro-world".

Next, Pence will be telling us that 80,000 CONFIRMED cases, 2800 CONFIRMED deaths and 63 (not the 34 or so that Trump claimed) CONFIRMED U.S. cases are merely "Alternate Facts".

Years ago, I often mused at what it might be like to have an "Archie Bunker" type personality and subpar intellect in the White House. Now I know. In Archie's defense, he was fundamentally a decent person, with little education. Sadly, the same cannot be said for Trump.

We saw that on the news yesterday evening, and laughed our asses off. Sokay. His merry band of lemmings will forego handwashing and other simple prevention measures, and the problem of them will solve itself. :laugh:

Now, with respect to the link, that is EXACTLY what tRump said. Probably not exactly what he meant, but his oratory skills are so damn bad that he often blurts out utter nonsense.

Here is what Webster says about the meaning of tRump's chosen word:

28000 deaths worldwide in a world population of 7.7 billion people, or about 0.000036% of the world population.
63 cases in the United States in a population of 372.2 million people,or about 0.0000169% of the U.S. population.

Crisis? What crisis?

That made sense to you? It just started in the US. Now 6 dead and it is spreading. We have no real numbers of infected since we have done very little testing. But it has been solved. See the photo. Nobody knows how bad it will get or if it will fade, except you.

Fear monger.

There really is nothing to worry about. The six that died were already old and/or suffering from other illnesses. Flu does this every year. The numbers I have shown include worldwide numbers, not just the United States. Pay attention.

Nobody ever said it was a hoax. Not even Trump. It is the panic the newspapers are making of it that is the hoax. This is also what Trump meant.
 
We have a terrible admin running this threat. When Trump had a presser introducing his team, he declared Pence to be the head. Azar said, I am still the head, talk to me. They turned to Trump and he fled.
Pence said the CDC, HHS and other agencies had been meeting for weeks. Then he said his job is to bring them together. WTF. He sure did a good job.
