All falling into place, just as Trump has dumped all independent agencies established by Congress, fired the IG’s, politicalized the DOJ, appears now he is beginning to mold the military into his own private force. Elections going forward are never going to be the same, and the country might as well shelve the First Amendment

No, they don't. Troops swear allegiance to the Constitution and lawful orders from their chain-of-command. There's already bitching in the ranks about being deployed to cities in other states.

Most Guardsmen signed up to serve their state and nation, not be used as pawns in a petty dictator's game of life. The fact Trump just extended the deployment of the NG to DC is going to ripple across all NG units in the nation.

As we are seeing with the farmers and rancher who voted for Trump and are now getting fucked in the ass by him, I think a lot of the coming violence will be MAGA-on-MAGAt.
