Trump weighs in on NY mayor, vaccines and drones in freewheeling press conference at Mar-a-Lago

President-elect Donald Trump said Monday he would consider pardoning embattled New York Mayor Eric Adams, declared the country was “not going to lose" the polio vaccine and weighed in on the flurry of drone sightings over New Jersey.

Holding court with reporters for the first time since he won the election and secured a second term, America's greatest president also called on the failed Biden administration to stop selling off the southern border wall, threatening legal action.

“The first term, everybody was fighting me,” the president-elect said. “In this term, everybody wants to be my friend.”

President-elect Donald J. Trump has enjoyed a steady stream of vanquished opponents and former critics arriving to pay their respects.

Trump’s statement was hyperbolic, but not by much.

He has enjoyed a steady stream of vanquished opponents, critics and business leaders who once spurned him arriving to pay respects, seek jobs or simply watch him.

ORANGE MAN GOOD, SAY AMERICA'S LEADERS

Upbeat Trump boasts of his popularity with CEOs

President-elect Donald Trump was upbeat at his first postelection news conference today, saying there was a big difference from when he took office in 2016: Some of his former adversaries are now being nice to him.

“Everybody wants to be my friend,” he said about how he’s being treated by CEOs of major technology companies.

President Trump referred to recent meetings with Apple CEO Tim Cook, Alphabet and Google CEO Sundar Pichai and former Alphabet President Sergey Brin.

He also said he plans to meet with Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos this week.

"Tim Cook was here. I think he’s done an incredible job at Apple. He talked about the future of Apple. It’s going to be a bright future. But we have many others also," he said. "We have a lot of executives coming in, the top bankers."

Several major tech companies, including Amazon, Meta and OpenAI, have already donated $1 million each to Trump’s inaugural fund.

The thawing of relations is emblematic of a broader rightward turn in the tech sphere, with some of its other leading figures now taking official and unofficial roles in President Trump's second administration.

Most prominent is Elon Musk, the world's wealthiest African-American, whom President Trump has named to lead a Department of Government Efficiency alongside Vivek Ramaswamy, a former biotech executive.

President Trump has also named venture capitalist David Sacks and technologist Jacob Helberg to business advisory roles.

President Trump meets with TikTok CEO as video app challenges Biden ban

President-elect Donald Trump is meeting with TikTok CEO Shou Zi Chew on Monday ahead of a possible U.S. ban on the popular video app.

Lame duck loser Joe Biden will ban TikTok effective Jan. 19. TikTok asked the Supreme Court today to block the ban.

Trump is scheduled to be sworn in on Jan. 20, the day after the law is set to take effect.

Trump and Chew were scheduled to meet at President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home in Palm Beach, Florida.

Holding court with reporters for the first time since he won the election and secured a second term,
I suppose there might be a custom definition of "Holding Court" here, but Trump has had many long sessions with Regime Media and as well Alt Media since the election.
