Let's be clear. The extra $1400 that tRump is now wanting is total B.S. What it is is a cheap stunt by an insecure egomaniac in desperate need of praise and affection as his significance nears its bitter end.
While tRump took little interest in the Covid relief package negotiations, Mnuchin was negotiating on behalf of tRump. As such, had tRump wanted a $2000 dollar amount, Mnuchin would have negotiated it and the Congressional Republicans would have supported it. By objecting to the $600 amount AFTER the bill had passed, it is rather obvious that this last minute objection from tRump is just another publicity stunt.
At some point, the tRumpanzees will surely realize that tRump has and continues to "play" them for fools.
Even worse than that is how tRump would rather try and sooth his bruised ego instead of helping millions of Americans in need. Then again, he has yet to show any remorse for the needless deaths of many due to his Covid leadership incompetence.
