Trump was considering withdrawing from NATO

They all have amnesia about this, or consider it "fake news". A true cult.
Oh, the Trump boot-lickers on here used to cheer Trump when he insulted and demeaned traditional European allies.

Can you imagine Trump leading a global coalition against resurgent Soviet authoritarianism? I can't.

trump is still owned by Putin. Of course he will continue to weaken the world's defense mechanisms

We dodged a bullet with Trump being denied a second term. I think Putin has been planning something like this for years, and he was just bidding his time to see if his puppet Trump would fatally undermine NATO and discredit American leadership.

Of course. That's why he's been quiet. Even after Manafort's pro Putin president was ousted from Ukraine, they then had a corrupt albeit pro Ukraine president.

The removal of corrupt politicians was the number one demand by NATO before they would accept Ukraine. Putin/trump were successful at slowing that process, and now Putin moved in.

"Allies and Former U.S. Officials Fear Trump Could Seek NATO Exit in a Second Term"

President Trump is said to have spoken privately for years about withdrawing from the alliance, a move that critics say would be a major victory for Russia

This is another reason to keep the orange buffoon from returning to office?!! If Trump is commander in chief again you can bet your bottom dollar, he will withdraw from NATO and pull all American troops out of Europe too?!! NATO would have to fend for itself?!!

Some still are doing it. Hawkeye and AHZ both seek the destruction of NATO and the supremacy of Russia over Europe. China too in #10's case.

It would be the smart move of Putin do use the cheaper method of Euro domination...with Trump's help.

You are humorless idiot who doesn't understand satire.
Better to be humorless than a Russian, oath-breaking cocksucker.

Ok, General Gardner, why don't you enlighten me on what the United States of America should be doing about this crisis but hasn't?

Staying the fuck out of it as much as possible. Giving / selling weapons to the Ukrainians is fine, as is imposing sanctions on Russia. What the US isn't doing is massively increasing domestic production of resources and nationalizing Russian owned industries in the US particularly ones that supply critical military materials like steel. Russian companies have a large investment in US steel plants.

Or, the Uranium One deal the Hildabeast brokered.

But Joke isn't doing that...

Yes, and if the rest of the members did not start paying their fair share we should withdraw, the USA should not be the major funder protecting Europe.

Agreed on not becoming militarily involved in the war and supporting both humanitarian and defensive efforts. Javelins and Stingers are the perfect Home Defense weapon for nations under attack. Give a set to every Ukrainian citizen and a booklet on how to use them.

Aren't we doing that? The fucking Russians own the US steel industry? Who knew??!!! FWIW, I think the noose will be tightened further. It's one thing to sanction the nation. Most Russians hate Putin too. It's another to make Russians so desperate they join with Putin.

My best advice is to tighten the noose enough to encourage the Russian people to act in their own best interests of world peace and prosperity...but don't over due it.....yet.
