On his first day back at the White House next month, Donald Trump plans to issue pardons for all January 6 defendants.

The president-elect said it's a high priority for him to get those who rioted at the Capitol in 2021 out of where they are held in prisons and jails because they have been there for years while he ran for a second term.

'I'm going to be acting very quickly,' Trump told NBC News in his first post-victory interview aired on Sunday.

And summarily fire every DOJ attorney involved in these prosecutions. And prosecute them!

Very good. The overwhelming majority are political prisoners. A few committed violent acts.

Of course. Why should the rule of law matter in MAGA's America?

The president has the legal authority to pardon people convicted of federal crimes, last time I checked.

That's the law, and it rules.

I mean, it's not as though Trump issued a retroactive blanket pardon to his son, or anything, right?

Which ones are in jail that didn't commit violent acts?

Everyone that was arrested for non violent behavior got no jail time or very limited jail time.

Man who rested feet on Pelosi office desk on Jan. 6 sentenced to over 4 years in prison

He assaulted no one

Jan. 6 rioter known as ‘QAnon Shaman’ sentenced to 41 months

He assaulted no one

Well, "very limited" is a subjective term, ain't it?

He was convicted of theft and carrying a weapon on Capitol grounds along with obstructing an official proceeding.
Are you going to tell me that carrying a weapon and theft are not crimes of violence?
He is scheduled to be released from prison next year.

No longer in prison.

I am still waiting for those still in prison that didn't commit an act of violence. It's funny the way violence isn't violence when it comes to attacking a police officer or breaking windows when someone did it at the Capitol on Jan 6th.

Sep 12, 2023, eh? Any sentenced and/or jailed since then?

In case you "forgot", this was your claim:

Everyone that was arrested for non violent behavior got no jail time or very limited jail time.

Have you got a list of the people arrested for "nonviolent behavior" who" "got no jail time or very limited jail time"?

Ot not?

No. This was my claim.

Everyone that was arrested for non violent behavior got no jail time or very limited jail time.

That's what I reminded you your claim was. I'm not sure you understand basic English, at this point.

I'm not going through a searchable database to prove your point. The burden of proof falls upon the claimant.

That would be Y O U.

Get busy. I'd suggest creating a spreadsheet, uploading it to the cloud, and posting the link.

Oh.. you don't want a searchable database, you want a searchable spreadsheet.

Thanks for showing us you are an idiot.

Of the people charged with parading on Capitol grounds, 40 U.S.C. § 5104(e)(2)(G), 2 got 6 months incarceration and all the others got 60 days or less with the majority getting no jail time at all.

You need to click the link to sentences handed down to see the sentences.

I want what I asked you for, and I want what you said you had.

A list.

Hop to it.

Or, don't.

Your choice.
When did I say I had a list?
But then when I did present you with a way to see the sentences of everyone arrested, you complain you don't like the format.
I gave you a way to see the sentencing of every person arrested and convicted for a crime at the US Capitol on Jan 6th.
On that list the people that were convicted of 514(e)(2)(G) were mostly sentenced to short term home confinement or just probation. Of those sentenced to jail time, only 2 were sentenced to more than 60 days in jail. Those 2 were sentenced to 6 months.

The current list of defendants, offense and sentences can be found here since you can't seem to figure out how to use links on government pages.
