Mar-a-Lago would normally be at the peak of its annual business this time of year, according to the newspaper.

A spokesperson for the Trump Organization told CNBC in a statement: “Various facilities are temporarily closed given local, state and federal mandates. We anxiously await the day when this pandemic is over and our world-class facilities can reopen.”

A receptionist who answered Mar-a-Lago’s phone number declined to comment on the Times’ report.

Anyone else smell a bailout for the hotel and resort industry coming soon to a TrumpCo property near you?

Most assuredly, and not a small one based on what Trump charges the Secret Service to protect him,

Plus, casinos, a lot of Trump big time donors own casinos, which has to be the most ludicrous thing I heard with this stimulus, bailing out casinos, isn't the point of a casino wagering on probabilities and not sure things

It will be interesting to watch and see if all the same (R)s that refused to convict or even call witnesses during the impeachment carry his water on that one, if a bailout bill makes it to the Senate.

Why wouldn't they, currently Trump is making out like a bandit profiting off of his golf junkets to Trump properties and none of them have anything to say about that, so don't expect them to say anything with bailing out Mar A Lago

Yep. I hope the voters throw out every single one of these slimebags who profited off the insider trading too, by dumping stock while it still had its value. And that includes Feinstein (D), if it's true that she also indulged.

Well since you put it that way, sorta... Does Florida have laws against hiring ppl in this country illegally stealing American jobs??
probably not, as that would more likely be a federal law......though you could ask Jarod.....he claims to be familiar with the Florida bar......

that's one helluva lot different (insider trading) then Trump possibly getting a bailout with the rest of the resort industry.
