Trump made a statement condemning racism, in response to the recent mass shootings. Obviously, the left has never and will never recognize or accept such statements from Trump, but this is not why it was a mistake. It was a mistake because there was no racism involved with the recent mass shootings. If Trump condemns racism in response to non racism problems, he marginalized the meaning of racism.
