"Despite Trump's pledge to narrow America's trade deficit by slapping heavy tariffs on Chinese goods, the gap by which imports exceeded exports in August*widened to more than $67 billion, its highest monthly tally in 14 years. The deficit with China alone fell about 7% from July but was still*about $26 billion,*according to the US Census Bureau."

I wonder if the trumpanzees are tired of losing yet?

Apparently we are going to just say yes to whatever China demands going forwards.

We wont have any other choice.

OH YEAH ,BENDOVER AND SUCK ASS....

UNDER THR TRADE DEAL THEYBSIGNED WITH TRUMP, THEY ARE OBLIGATED TO BUY OVER $63 BILLION MORE AG PRODUCTS THAN THEY EVER HAVE OFF OF US...

KISSING ASS , LIKE OBIDEN, OF KICKING ASS ,LIKE TRUMP.

I am sure Trump has been told who pays for tariffs. Yet he keeps lying. The American importer pays the tariff and passes it along to American consumers. You can envision it like a consumer tax. The money Trump gives to make farmers feel better is your tax money. This is why economists are against tariffs. It is a tax on American consumers.

This is a great example of how Trump has turned the political world upside down. You have Republicans, who for decades espoused free trade views, now supporting tariffs (which are taxes on consumers) and you have Democrats, who many for decades espoused anti-trade and pro-tarriff views, now speaking out against tariffs and wanting free trade.

The Chinese balance of trade that Trump said was easy to fix got a lot worse with him in office. I suppose the Trump virus ended that.
