No. Nobody is going to run once for him, get elected then "hand him the baton" and give up one of the terms they can be President for him.

Amendment 22 says you can only be elected twice for President. If they "hand him the baton" they lose a term to him.

Same guy who wanted to suspend the constitution when he lost in 2020 now wants to ignore the term limits set in the constitution.

Every conservative needs to reject this or just turn in your conservative card and just change the party name to "Trump's Party".

I do reject the idea. I also believe it is one of DJT's classic misdirection maneuvers. While those who wish him harm are busy looking at this nonsense he is slowly sticking the shiv in somewhere else. It's a shame he has to govern this way but it is what he is up against so his hands are tied. For now anyway.

The 22nd is worded very poorly, it says one cannot be elected president more than two terms, The Felon is alluding to the idea he could run someone else who would pick him as VP then resign, it is far fetched, but he is doing it to try to avoid being a lame duck.

Suppressing opposition from Republicans in this term is his goal.

By trying to weaken the Constitution.
You're a moron.

Except the 12th Amendment provides: "But no person constitutionally ineligible to the office of President shall be eligible to that of Vice-President of the United States." Trump's ineligibility to be "elected" effectively renders him "ineligible to the office", so that scheme probably won't work.

I agree, but he would say he is not Constitutionally ineligible for the office, only constitutionally ineligible to be elected to the office.

That is not the way to do it.

Trump was talking about it during his first term. It is not a new idea. He looks for loopholes to stay in power or get richer. But the Constitution prohibits 3rd terms. It is very specific.
