Trump is now advocating going to war with Panama unless to they agree to surrender first. It would be a short war with a long-term occupation and constant guerrilla attacks on US troops and civilians akin to Bush's War in Iraq.

In his post, Trump said the Panama Canal was a "vital national asset" for the U.S., calling it "crucial" for commerce and national security.

"The fees being charged by Panama are ridiculous, especially knowing the extraordinary generosity that has been bestowed to Panama by the U.S.," Trump wrote, going on to call the country's actions "very unfair and injudicious."

"If the principles, both moral and legal, of this magnanimous gesture of giving are not followed, then we will demand that the Panama Canal be returned to us, in full, and without question."

Vice president Trump is a war monger.

There is a zero percent chance that Panama, Ukraine, South Korea, Israel are going to surrender their sovereign territory without a fight.
He epitomizes George Orwell's Newspeak where the opposite of what he says is true.

More from the OP link:
Panama Canal Authority director Ricaurte Vásquez, to the Financial Times: "Continuing to raise prices indefinitely is not the way forward, and we are very careful to keep the Panama Canal as a relevant transit route for the whole world."

Panama President José Raúl Mulino on Twitter in June 2020: "Can the world withstand four more years of Trump? And the Americans?"

The Embassy of Panama to the United States on Twitter in July 2019: "The United States is our number one commercial partner, the #1 user for the canal and our greatest foreign investor, creating opportunity for both nations."

Or gorillas, if they can get there from their natural habitat.
I always found it interesting that gorillas were named after guerrillas, not the other way around. Then again, I find odd things interesting.

No, gorillas would not do well in Panama. It is too wet, and they do not like being in water. They lack our belly fat, and so have a lot of trouble swimming. Again, something no one else probably finds interesting.

Who told you that?

The word "gorilla" comes from the Greek word "gorillai," which was used by the Carthaginian explorer Hanno to describe a tribe of hairy people he encountered on the west coast of Africa around 500 BC.

This term was later applied to the great apes we now know as gorillas when they were scientifically described by the naturalist Thomas S. Savage in 1847.

On the other hand, "guerrilla" comes from the Spanish word "guerra," meaning "war," and refers to small, independent groups engaging in irregular warfare.

The term "guerrilla" was first used in this context during the Peninsular War in the early 19th century.

Trump is not looking for ANY war... stop lying.

He's itching for a trade war with pretty much all of our major trading partners.

You mean like the USA's current proxy war in Ukraine?

Don't worry. Trump will hand that over to Putin ASAP.

Thanks Biden's handlers...........

The Ukranian people will greatly enjoy it when Trump takes over and gives their country to a bloodthirsty murderous dictator. I hope they thank us.

A so-called "trade war" is not war, and he's not itching for a so-called "trade war" either, but has no problem with using tariffs to this nation's advantage.

Ukraine is not Trump's TO "hand over". Trump WILL put an end to that proxy war, though.

Ukraine is not Trump's TO "hand over". And I know that you have been programmed to "MUUUUUST HAAAAAATE PUUUUUUTIN", same as you've been programmed to "MUUUUUST HAAAAAATE TRUUUUUUMP", but Putin is not as bad as he gets made out to be.
