Okay, so if I develop and open a 15-acre trailer park or make some other kind of housing to give people a place to live for a fair price, that makes me inbred and on drugs?
Personally I think it's you that's inbred and on drugs. I've been seriously considering such a thing with 1/2 being ag exemption to lower the taxes.
It's a win-win for everyone except greedy government. The goal is to get it back to where 1 week's worth of work pays for 1 month's housing.
That's how it was when I was a young man, and that's how it should still be.
I was taught that by a mentor when I 1st was getting going.
1 week's work pays for your housing, the next week's pays for bills and food. The next 2 you can either blow or save and that's up to you.

I remember in the mid to late 80's some manufactures move down south to get cheaper labor, they got cheap labor alright, cheap unskilled and ignorant labor in small hick towns. The manufacturers had to import technical labor from the northern states to get the factories running. The southern states made a big deal of taking union jobs from the Yankees and having them non union. fast forward to 2000 and the south lost all those jobs to mexico and Asia, leaving the goobers holding their crotches
