[h=1]After Tucker Carlson Exits Fox News, Advertisers Start to Return to 8 p.m. Slot[/h]

Tucker Carlson is out at 8 p.m. on Fox News Channel, and the network hopes that a host of blue-chip advertisers that for years avoided his controversial hour will soon come back in.
Since Carlson’s stunning exit last month, a timeslot that has been shunned by many Madison Avenue stalwarts seems as if it is being embraced. Procter & Gamble, one of the nation’s largest and most influential advertisers, has been running ads in “Fox News Tonight,” the network’s new 8 p.m. program, for female-skewing products like Venus razor blades by Gillette and Secret underarm deodorant. Also showing up in commercial breaks: Novo Nordisk’s trendy medication Ozempic, and Scotts Miracle-Gro.

“We have had over 40 new advertisers come into the hour since we launched the new program, including some of the largest in the country and, really, across all major categories,” says Jeff Collins, executive vice president of ad sales at Fox News Media, in an interview. “We have seen new advertisers come in, and new demand.”

Same as it ever was. Go for ratings with misogynist Nazis, or go for revenue.

More proof that FoxNews is contrary to what we have been told over the years actually just another branch of Regime Media.

This reminds me of a little tiff I had with my brother last night, he told me that I dont know how companies work...I told him that he does not understand how companies work under the WOKE Suicide Cult Revolution....capitalism is dead just as the Constitution is.

Yea, like that makes up for the near 50% drop in viewers, and the huge loss in revenue that goes with it. Advertising to nobody isn't a brilliant idea...

There was no revenue in his slot. Just as we did with Beck, and Limpbaugh. We sent out thousands of emails to advertisers and they cut all ads. The Koch Brother was funding Limpbaugh until he finally rotted to death.

Not to worry. The racist propaganda is already back in the time slot, albeit with casting calls every week.

Just making up whatever bullshit you want to believe , again, we see, huh "teacher"?

In all, Carlson's show delivered $77.5 million in advertising revenue last year, according to Vivvixx data. The likely decline in audience for the 8 p.m. time slot at Fox News, at least in the short term, will hurt advertising revenue, analysts said.

I dont know if Fox ever gets those viewers back and that kind of advertising revenue
Who is their audience? Young people dont watch much cable news, Dems arent going to flock to Fox.

I think Fox slit their own throat...the Murdock kids kids wanted to move away from a successful model
Talk is Tucker winds up at Newsmax for 2x the $20 million he was getting at Fox
Im done with them,, even the 6PM news which used to have decent foreign coverage is now just cheering section for Ukraine, and the rest is corporate lite lib newz

Advertisers are willing to support FoxNews for their service to the Revolution, but only too a point.....the Murdochs are not generally trusted or liked.

Listen to your brother. You are a conspiracy nut.

I highly disagree that Fox is hurting for revenue regardless if Tucker is there or not.

They are the dominant news channel and they have nobody that’s even close to them

For years, Carlson’s “Tucker Carlson Tonight” has largely been supported by so-called “direct response” advertisers, which typically pay a lower price in exchange for allowing the network to place their commercials on an as-needed basis. The top advertisers in the show in the past few years, according to audience-measurement firm iSpot.TV, have been Fox News Channel itself, via promos for its programs and its Fox Nation streaming service; MyPillow, the bedding product from conservative entrepreneur Mike Lindell; and Balance of Nature, a maker of nutritional supplements.
