Those numbers come from Johns Hopkins.

The "Into the Night" sock is just dismissing it because he still thinks this is "a hoax".

Great, so it is FLATTENING--at 4600 dead people a day. Good call Donnie, start letting everyone go back to work, shopping, the beaches--at the PEAK of daily loss! It did plateau after all. I guess we're not gonna bother wait to see if say, you know, like it comes down, stays at the level or even rises again.

It is normal that the real stats are going to be higher. The hospitals and funeral systems are too busy to deal with counts. After it is over and a few months down the line the chances are the totals will grow a lot.

Overstated, actually...especially in New York City and in Michigan right now. They get federal payments for the higher numbers, you see.

For example, if someone once tested positive for Covid-19, and later recovered, but died from something else unrelated, it is still counted as a Covid-19 death, you see.

New York City's Health Department said Tuesday it is now reporting "probable" Covid-19 deaths
of individuals who have not been tested for the coronavirus but are presumed to be positive.
The 4,059 probable cases pushed the death toll in New York City to nearly 11,000 victims.

I would believe it. This particular scam for federal money seems to be getting popular with some cities.
