U.S. holds all the cards in trade with Mexico and Canada, forcing them to bend

Joe Biden - "Time to put Trump in the bullseye."
As the article shows, canada has lots of tariffs on items they buy from america. On milk it's 270%!!!

march 5 2025 Jacob King provided key insights on the true dynamics of this trade war: over 84% of Mexico’s exports go directly to the U.S., and 77% of Canada’s exports are bound for the American market. These are staggering figures, and they tell you everything you need to know about the balance of power in this supposed “trade war.” If tariffs continue, it won’t be the U.S. that suffers—it’ll be Canada and Mexico, watching their economies spiral into one of the worst recessions in over a century. They don’t have the luxury of weathering this storm for long.
The truth is, tariffs don’t create inflation—government spending and money printing do. Anyone who tells you otherwise is either misinformed or deliberately misleading.

As we look at the numbers, it’s clear that countries like Canada have been enjoying trade advantages at the expense of the U.S. Prior to Trump’s tariffs today, here’s a list of Canadian tariffs on U.S. goods:

  • Milk: 270%
  • Cheese: 245%
  • Butter: 298%
  • Chicken: 238%
  • Eggs: 163%
  • Sausages: 69.9%
  • Barley Seed: 57%
  • Copper: 48%
  • Aluminum: 45%
  • Steel: 25%
  • Cars: 45%
  • Televisions: 45%

Well your Messiah just blended, delaying the tariffs again

“ Trump delays 25% tariff on vehicle imports from Mexico, Canada”

The Markets nosediving certainly gave him a scare

Why did Trump negotiate such a deal if it’s so awful? You do realize the last trade deal was negotiated by Trump? 2019, remember who the President was?
