Fast forward this to about 2:00 into it and listen to this guy. Eventually you hear what you think is a woman joking about burning the books, but then a guy asks her and she's dead serious.

I'm shocked but not terribly surprised.

Great discovery there Mr. up-to-the-minute. You posted a bunch of douchebags at a circle jerk.

What's the point of the thread?

well, well, well. Jes' or'nry folks! You have a lot to put right in America before you start telling us what to do... and Obama better realise that, too. Nice guy, but STILL thinks he knows what's best for Europeans.
BTW we contibuted to a fund to feed America's poor today. Jes' thote ah'd lit yer know.

The US shouldn't be telling any other countries what to do. That's basically imperialism, and as we all know, imperialism has a 100% attrition rate.

But that being said, you're post is lacking in relevance to any prior posts.

No. I am referring to the video.

AKA "Tea bag parties."

Is this how you're launching your career? Posting anecdotal evidence to inflate a non-threat to your communist utopia? That, and being days behind the news on the pirates? And proudly holding onto that hood behind the zipper?

What career? Journalism is dead.

Yeah, and Europeans wouldn't know jack about telling other people what to do. The best thing you lot could do is continue to become less and less relevant.

So why would you want to copy the failings of European states?

Anyway we've subtly changed our policy of influencing American attitudes, eschewing economic and political leverage in favour of distracting ordinary Americans from reality through a constant barrage of reality tv phone-in programs. It's working a treat.

Well, there was that bit in "The Man Who Knew Too Little," starring Bill Murray, so you may be on to something there...

I like the chap from the Libertarian Party (with the terribly bad facial hair arrangement) when he attempts a round of applause and receives the shortest of shrifts from the audience in attendance.

Just so long as they don't try to take over the dental schools we'll be alright.

That's typically what Libertarians get in most crowds. He's probably used to it. :)
