B blackascoal The Force is With Me Apr 14, 2009 #22 Personally, I'm looking forward to the tea parties which I see as a very interesting study of American political ideology. Republicans/conservatives/right-wing are trying to adopt the populist mechanisms that has worked for the left. They're even looking to marches. Imagine that. Can we soon expect to see a bunch of right-wingers marching down the street signing "We Shall Overcome?" I'd pay money for that sight. It's good to see republicans getting off their asses and trying to be populist. The problem for them is they aren't populists .. and their numbers are dwindling. It will be interesting to see if they draw anywhere near the numbers that causes of the left attracted. Last edited: Apr 14, 2009

I personally think you'd have gone left if a 'rightwinger' came to a leftie protest to disrupt it.
