Grandpa Fred Thompson says he doesn't go to church much. He pretty much only seems to go to church, when he's visiting his Mama.

I wonder if the bible thumpers will still consider him their Great-White Hope?

I'm probably going to have to start going to Quaker meetings with my Mama. And we know, that Bush's FBI spies on the quakers, because they are anti-war.

If the quaker meeting house is bugged, I'm going to announce that I hate bush, I hate the war, that I'm going to do "something" about Bush to stop the war, and that I post on a website called justplainpolics under the name Battleborne

My mother was an Episcopalian who wished she were a Quaker. When I got near to draft age in the Vietnam era, she started sending me to Quaker Meeting, in an effort to make my conscience object, you see.

Then came Nixon and the whole Quaker thing became anathema in my house(s).

Of all Christians, I, personally, probably like Quakers best. Quakers don't even bother preaching, for the most part, they just practice.
