UK election is tonight; results are just streaming in

Wow... a ConDem pac. This will be interesting. The Head Boy lost his job... Who will the new leader be?

The bookies favourite is David Millibands, current foreign secretary and favourite of Hillary Clintons.

Nobody has announced they're standing yet but it's likely going to come down to a contest between Millibands and Ed Ball, the Children's minister. Ball is an idiot and protege of Gordon Browns.

There's a possibility that David Milliband's brother, another Ed, will run. I'd prefer Alan Johnsons as he is the only one of them who is vaguely normal but i don't think he'll run.
* i appreciate you probably haven't heard of any of these people before.

The game's up for any LibLab deal.

Labour about to announce the talks are over.

Gordon Browns is packing his bags and loading stuff up round the back of Downing Street, according to the BBC.

New PM ahoy.

Are they going to give Cable a cabinet position?

And what exactly does the Home secretary do?

Home Secretary would be the equivalent of Sec State for the Interior. (Is that what you call it?)

I'd imagine Cable will get something but negotiations are still going on.
