Already specialized in drone piloting, the Ukrainians now want to move up a gear and launch a new technology enabling a single pilot to direct “a swarm of drones”, says the Kiev Independent. These drones could, in the near future, be completely controlled by AI (artificial intelligence). This technological advance would be capable of wiping out the Russian Shahed drones that pose a daily threat on the battlefield.
Brave1 is also developing ground drones that can “compensate for the lack of personnel by performing tasks currently carried out by soldiers on the ground”, such as “reconnaissance, support for defensive and offensive operations, delivery of goods, casualty evacuation and mine clearing/laying”.
Buoyed by the effectiveness of long-range strikes, the Ukrainians intend to multiply them to change the course of the war. In fact, Natalia Kushnerska asserts that “by 2025, we expect more strikes of this type, as the Ukrainian missile program develops rapidly”.
