The stalemate in choosing a new Speaker of the House may well result in inappropriate and undue hyper conservative crap for us all. McCarthy wants to be Speaker. He doesn’t want to lead; he is not a leader. He just wants the title...he covets the title.

Apparently, he will give away whatever is necessary to attain it, to the extreme morons of the far-right. He will make whatever concessions they demand in order to get their votes.

We all will suffer the indignity of extreme far-right governance as a result.

Why anyone would vote these incompetent boors into office is beyond comprehension.

It IS a beautiful day. Actually warm here.

But my point is that giving a dozen people undue influence over the legislative agenda is not good...not for McCarthy, not for the GOP, not for America. But it looks like that is what is going to happen.

I seem to remember a shit ton of liberals here and in the world telling us that elections have consequences. I suggest that if you don't want that type of governance, move to canada.

Elections have consequences, and the vast majority of the radical right LOST, elections have consequences, and the moderates won.
 
It seems that Trump has actually created a 3rd party after all. The crazies are still doing his dirty work and are acting against the Repub party. They do not have the numbers to break away ..yet. I doubt they will, but Trump is losing power every day.
