US Supreme Court's Roberts pauses judge's order on Trump administration foreign aid funding

WASHINGTON, Feb 26 (Reuters) - U.S. Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts on Wednesday paused a federal judge's order requiring President Donald Trump's administration to pay foreign aid funds to contractors and grant recipients for past work.
The court issued an interim order placing on hold Washington-based U.S. District Judge Amir Ali's action that had imposed a deadline of 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday night.


Fuck the Supreme Court. They are part of Trump's coup.
 
Trump would cheat them out of their labor. He has done that his whole life. When giving speeches if, the lighting or sound went bad he announced he would not [pay them for the work they did. It wasn't his money, but he did not care if they took a loss.

I wouldn't say that entirely. A federal judge that has sound legal reasoning and can 'show his work' could have a say. On the other hand, a for shit political appointee like Ali who rules on a whim? No. He had no business butting into this case.

There are over 1400 Federal judges. We can't have them all with the power to stop the peoples business. They should only be able to stay something in their area not the entire country.

Within their jurisdiction and citing valid law and legal precedent. None of that was done with Ali. He just made shit up as he went.
