Vengeance

I don't want to see President Trump going after his political enemies. We just need to enforce the laws on immigration and crime, repeal bad-faith legislation, roll back over-regulation by unelected bureaucrats, eliminate government fraud waste, and abuse, and restore justice for all wherever possible.

I do think there are at least two avenues that are vital:

1. Gen Mike Milley confessed to at least four potentially treasonous acts to Bob Woodward. The chain of command is sacred. The DOD ought to recall him for an Article 32 Preliminary Hearing followed by a General Court-Martial (if warranted).

2. Capitol Police Lieutenant Michael Byrd shot and killed Ashli Babbitt, an unarmed woman. This should be re-investigated. Release the relevant security camera recordings to the investigators.

Anything else?

Both have been investigated. Babbit was climbing through a window that kept Trump's insurrectionists from reaching our politicians. He was found to have been doing his job. Can you guys ever understand that?
You do not want a public trial of Milley. He will tell the world what Trump was doing and what he wanted Milley to do.

Re-investigation of the Babbitt shooting..

And I want the DOD to recall Milley for an Article 32 Preliminary Hearing followed by a General Court-Martial (if warranted).

That's what I said, that's what I'd like to see happen.

Oh there is plenty.

Let's set aside the innumerable "conspiracy against rights" charges (yes it's a real charge, they tried to use it on Trump) for all the conspiring done to make it easier to cheat in the elections.

See: https://crsreports.congress.gov/product/pdf/LSB/LSB11016

There is:
  • Entrapment of Michal Flynn
  • Swatting of Rodger Stone while conspiring with media to create theater
  • Lying to a FISC court that ended in a slap on a wrist for one fall guy (who like I implied didn't fall very hard)
  • Every single false charge with made up crime and every single civil suit brought with no precedent is also a conspiracy against rights. The clear and provable object of these psuedolegal actions was to interfere in a federal election and thus deny the suffrage of millions.
  • Every fake charge (pretty much every charge besides misdemeanor trespass) for every Jan 6 political prisoner was a conspiracy to deny 1st amendment rights.
  • Every fake charge against the alternate electors in 2020
  • Every fake charge against auditors and poll watchers
  • Every fake charge against whistleblowers
  • Every fraudulent sanction imposed to intimidate lawyers from advocating for election integrity
  • Pretty much everything the 65 project has done and plans to do
  • Everyone who lied to POTUS about troop deployments
  • Fauci's admitted lies about the effectiveness and availability of masks
  • Everyone who attempted to commit election fraud and anyone who paid them or otherwise conspired with them

What are the punishments that should be given?

18 U.S. Code § 241

They shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than ten years, or both; and if death results from the acts committed in violation of this section or if such acts include kidnapping or an attempt to kidnap, aggravated sexual abuse or an attempt to commit aggravated sexual abuse, or an attempt to kill, they shall be fined under this title or imprisoned for any term of years or for life, or both, or may be sentenced to death.

Ashley Babbitt was murdered to prevent her from exercising her 1st amendment rights, the punishment may be death.

Anyone who was sent to prison was kidnapped, the punishment may be death.

Anyone who was sexually abused in prison is a victim of the conspirators in that way, the punishment may be death.

Anyone involved in the assassination attempts, including intentionally opening security gaps, is conspiring in an attempt to kill. The punishment may be death.

For the sake of proportionality we should limit the punishments to life in prison if the victim was not actually killed or sexually abused.

As for the rest of them, 10 years in prison and maximum fine. Prosecutors, jurors, judges, plaintiffs ALL OF THEM.

So you see the overlap between "Trump's poltical enemies" and "criminals" is actually pretty large.

Can't all of that be done under existing law, given a return to equal justice for all?

18 U.S. Code § 241 is from 1948 and was not repealed. So that's existing law.

If they want to be protected while they violate constitutional rights they're the ones who need new law. They are the ones who keep saying "no one is above the law, not even a president".

If a president is not above the law, then neither is a cop, or an FBI agent, or a prosecutor, or a judge, or a juror.

I don't dispute any of that, and never did.

What's going to change, I hope, is the restoration of the equitable application of the law as it currently exists.

Selective enforcement (favored by the left) is not justice.

I guess we will find out when the kangaroos leave the court.

Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. She played a stupid game.

There is nothing to investigate, we know exactly what happened. The man shot an unarmed woman to defend a hallway from people his propaganda addled mind labeled as terrorists with bloody intent.
