Verizon/LG is coming out with a web browsing Jesus Phone to compete with Apple's.

Watch for it around the holidays.
And it does not depend on ATT's slow network :)
 
It still won't be apple, still won't play my m4ps, and still won't sync with my apple applications. It's a piece of shit.

I'm waiting for my verizon plan to expire so i can switch.
 
There's plenty of phones out there that can browse the web.

Apple just gets to charge 400 dollars extra per phone because they stick an "apple" sticker on it.

You're first point was correct. The second one is untrue, the third one is irrelevant, considering that it's just as easy to do everything anyway. Apple applications are the shittiest applications around.
 
Apple fanboys are so annoying. Go blow Steve Jobs for gods sake. He fucks you in price and quality with every generation that comes out and you keep on eating it up cus you want to feel "different".
 
m4p is proprietary. I can't imagine Verizon getting a piece of apple's market share with apple's proprietary sound encoding.

It has nothing to do with "feeling different." I own an apple because that's why my industry uses exclusively - and for good reasons that I won't bother getting into. So if anything, I do it to "fit in." But that's not true either
 
Honestly I'm done with Apple I think. Their greed is gonna fuck them in the long run. I have been a big supporter but the iphone lockdown bullshit and their refusal to add simple flash memory slots to the iphone and ipod touch are both greedy and harming their product.

The archos 605 wifi owns the ipod touch.

touchscreen, wifi, internet browser, memory slot, can play pretty much any media filetype. 30g/80g/160g versions and cheaper. They are even coming out with a cheaper one.

I've always wondered why every new apple product HAS to be placed at least 100 dollars greater than another apple product. They make about twice the profit on a 600 dollar Iphone.
