This Hurricane will miss Tampa, but the damage is going to be worse than if it had hit Tampa.

If the weather man is correct this hurricane will pull into New Orleans early Wenesday. Combining New Orleans, Hurricanes and Republicans has never worked out well and I dont believe it will this time.

The Coverage of Romney's acceptance speech will be severly overshadowed by the storm coverage. The clear parallels to how this storm aftermath will be handled by a professional FEMA v. Bush's FEMA will be harmfull to the Republican brand.

The Democrats will have a week to carefully craft a convention that will be both sensitive to the victims of this hurricane and highlight the skill and power of the exscutive branch as led by president Obama. Romney will be forgotten, Obama will be fresh off a very presidental tour of the damage.

It might not work out this way, but it appears to me that the handwriting is on the wall.

A religious man might ponder whether God is angry with Republicans.

How many claimed Hurricane Katrina as God's judgement on the evil people of New Orleans...will those same people now claim Hurricane Isaac is God expressing his anger with Republicans?

lol... um... wouldn't that 'religious man' say: 'Hey look, a hurricane was coming right for Tampa and didn't hit'? Wouldn't that religious man's God have 'saved' the Reps?

Well this is the second Republican convention in a row that a hurricane has messed up so...I think this is finally the proof we have been looking for that God is indeed a woman..and she is effing pissed off.

Ah but Tampa is going to be on what is called the "dirty side" of the storm.

They are going to get the worst of the storm, while those to the west of the eye will get almost nothing.

not sure, but fairly certain they are predicting about 12-18 inches for New Orleans right now.

BTW I think it is a mistake for Obama to bring up Clinton and have him speak. All it will do is highlight what a bigger failure Obama is. There is a chance bill could overshadow obama
