To all those who served in our military, let me offer my deepest gratitude and respect. Your service should be recognized every day.

Thank you for your sacrifice.

"A Veteran is someone, who at one point in their life, wrote a blank check payable to the United States of America for an amount up to, and including, their life. That is beyond honor."

Remembrance Day here.

Charver, I extend my profound respect to all those who served in their country's military. It is a monumental act of sefllessness and service.

This is one of those times when words mean little but remembering is everything.

Today certainly puts things into perspective.

Words mean little but they do help. I think no words convey our heart felt thoughts for the sacrifice and suffering of our Veterans as this poem does.

In Flanders Fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.

We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved, and now we lie
In Flanders fields.

Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders fields.

I'll add my deepest respect and gratitude to all my bretheren in service. God bless you all, and your families.

It's too bad everything you thought you were fighting for is being destroyed by globalist zealotry and internationalist fascists.

Thank you to all who have served and to those currently serving our country. We appreciate all you have done for us, especially those who have paid the ultimate price.

Thank you my protectors.

The best way to repay your sacrafice is to fully fund the needs of our returning veterans.

Do they still sell poppies? I haven't seen a vet selling poppies in forever!

Do you understand the symbolism of poppies for Veterans Rana? In fields where large battles have occured in much of Europe and Asia, where many men have died and been buried, for some reason poppies grow on their graves and that is why poppies are symbols for our Veterns.

The Canadian who wrote that poem was working at an aid station in Flanders during WWI near a freshly turned cemetary and it was the site of the poppies growing in abundance on the soldiers graves which inspired him to write "In Flanders Fields".

You're welcome guys :)
