Laughing can be a defense mechanism.

I bet she wouldnt press charges though ,the big one is how long they left her there like that and if its always her that gets this treatment.
 
I seriously doubt it. We would have done that to any newbie on a ship. Plus it would be like working in the boiler... Those guys are just a bit insane to begin with.

There was nothing sexual about it, if you watch the video you'll see that almost right away. But the laughter wasn't really a defense in this case...
 
I dont think so either ,I think this was just people having fun .

It seems to me they were very careful to grab her in suck a way she was never touched in suck a way to make her feel violated.

I was just commenting on the fact that because someong luaghs it doesnt mean they are happy.

It can be used as an unconcious attempt to disfuse a situation.
