War and the Hart!

At the end of the talk someone from the audience
asked the Dalai Lama, "Why didn't you fight back against
the Chinese?" The Dalai Lama looked down, swung his feet
just a bit, then looked back up at us and said with a gentle smile, "Well, war is obsolete, you know " Then, after a few moments, his face grave, he said, "Of course the mind can rationalize fighting back...but the heart, the heart would never understand.
Then you would be divided in yourself, the heart and the mind, and the war would be inside you."

That's pretty genius. I'm sure some war enthusiasts will take you to task for "hart," but what a great sentiment to start a Monday with.

One must be a war enthusiast to care about spelling? I find that difficult to believe.

lmao @ rants and rants...

do you really wish to make a fool of yourself on this again?

I don't think you really grasp what a "fool" is.

Noticed you sprinted away from the thread in the other forum, btw. As I said on that thread - I offered an explanation of my reasoning. You ran when given the same opportunity.

Thats not what he said.

Notice I asked him in the form of a question? By me asking a question it is inferring that I do not know the answer. Now if I had ended my sentence with a period I would have been stating this is what he said. I didn't do that though did I? I asked him if this is what he meant.

One might think a lawyer would pick up on that but one often hears the phrase about not making assumptions...

LMAO... I explained myself numerous times and you simply refused to acknowledge it. You continued playing semantics.

It is also humorous, for if I had continued trying to explain to you, eventually you would have tossed out the 'SF always has to have last word' line of crap you enjoy.
